Funeral Mass for Eula Mae Batiste of Mansura will begin at 10:00am, Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church with Fr. Blake Deshautelle officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura.

Eula Mae Batiste, age 85, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at residence in Olive Branch, MS.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Dr. Lynda Batiste of Olive Branch, MS and Helen Batiste Shepard (Donald) of Katie, TX; son, Eldon Batiste (Dominique) of Murita, CA; six grandchildren, Charles D. Paul (Orriel), Zachary F. Paul, Noilen Gonzales, James Gonzales, Lyndell Batiste, and Brice Reese; two great-grandchildren, Christian D. Paul and Troi Batiste; sisters, Marilyn Augustine Pierre of Mansura, LA and Mary Bernell Augustine Prier (Donald) of Katie, TX; and brother, Lester P. Augustine (Thelma) of Mansura, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Joseph Batiste Sr.; parents, John Herman Augustine Sr. and Laura Barker Augustine; siblings, Kirby L. Augustine, Mildred Augustine Lucas, Herman Augustine, Vernon Augustine, and Clarence Augustine.
