Eric "BB" Andrews

A Celebration of Life for Eric “BB” Andrews of Marksville will begin at 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm until 1:00pm on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura. The interment will be held on a future date.

Mr. Andrews passed away from this earthly home on Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 73. Mr. Andrews worked for Scallan Construction for 56 years. Mr. Andrews enjoyed working outside in his yard, riding his motorcycle, fishing, and riding his horses.

Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine Macintosh and Carlton Andrews; sisters, Anna Jean Carmouche and Donna Lewis; brothers, Anthony Tony Price and Silton Barron; and Ms. Duke Carmouche who played a major role in his life growing up.

Those to cherish his memories are his wife, Betty Andrews of 31 years; his son, Leonard Augustine of Marksville, LA; and daughter, Nicole Clark of Bunkie, LA; brothers, Nolan (Ann) Lavalais, Earl Sanders, and Freddy Andrews; stepchildren: Byron Dorsey, Charlie Dorsey, Rashika Dorsey, Elmer Dorsey, and Sylvain Dorsey. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews, extended family, and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Elmer Dorsey, Sylvain Dorsey, Arnold Ray Jacobs, Rondall Dorsey, Dontavious Dorsey, & Troy Frank

Honorary pallbearers are Nolan Lavalais, Leonard Augustine, Earl Sanders, Freddy Andrews, Tyler Seaberry, Kevin Sampy, Kary Lavalais, and Brent Scallan.
