Funeral services for Elonia Augustine will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in St. Paul Baptist Church in Marksville, LA. Visitation will be held in the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the beginning of the service. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
Elonia Augustine, 89 and a resident of Marksville passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 in Rapides by Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Augustine; Parents Willie and Rose Anna Holmes Lonzo; siblings, Lessie Thomas, Wilson Lonzo, Stanley Lonzo, Mary Ford,Ruby Wickleif and Merica Asley. she is survived by her son, Chafe W. Frank, Jr; he is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
Escude Funeral Home of Mansura is in charge of arrangements.
