Funeral service for Elma Heath of Bunkie will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Pastor Andre Champion officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery in Goudeau.
Elma Mae Heath, age 74, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Bayou Vista Nursing Home in Bunkie.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Heath of Cottonport and Jerry Heath (Kimberlain) of Moreauville; her brother, Berry Heath (Gilda) of Mansura, and 7 grandchildren, Raven Rakeem, Rhianna, Channing, Raylain, Lynzrick, and Corian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob & Leanner Jacobs
Heath; siblings, Thelma Heath, Ivy Roy, Mary Celestine, Willie Heath, Samuel Pete Heath, Elijah Heath, Dorothy Allen, Betty Heath, Rosemary Kemper, Ida Wycoff, and Curray Heath.
Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350.
