Ello Chatelain

Ello Rose Chatelain, age 90, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 5:09p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. She was native of Mansura, daughter of Althea Forest Roy. Visitation at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Hessmer from 8 a.m. until religious services at 12p.m. conducted by Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez. She is was preceded in death by her; husband, Fagie Chatelain; daughter, Jo Ann Chatelain; sisters, Sadie Deshotel, Dosie Michell; brothers Olin, William, Sims Roy. She is survived by her; two daughters, Sherrel Moreau Peggy Saucier; son-in-law, Wille Saucier; brother Huron Roy; six grandchildren, Michael wife Charlotte Laborde, David wife Pamela Laborde, Charlene husband Eric Amos, Nicole husband Michael Torrance, Monique husband Jeremy Singleton, Derrick wife Dina Moreau; four step-grandchildren, Johnnie Saucier, Carl wife Karen Saucier, Kenny wife Denise Saucier, and Chris wife Michelle Saucier. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren twelve step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services and arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.
