Funeral Mass for Elizabeth S. Dobison of Cottonport will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the St. Mary’s Assumption Catholic Church in Cottonport. Burial will follow at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Cemetery in Cottonport.

Elizabeth Dobison, age 76, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at her home in Cottonport.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, John Dobison of Cypress, TX; daughter, Karen (Gregory) Antoine of Mansura; sisters: Catherine Hagger of Cottonport, Dorothy Dupas of Cottonport, Rose Mary Benjamin of Moreauville, Louvenia Jackson of Geismar, and Waver Tassin of Hessmer; brothers: Irvin Sampson of Mansura, Phillip Sampson of Alexandria, Andrew Sampson of Alexandria, and James Sampson of Kansas City, MO. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Dobison, Sr.; her parents, Daniel & Catherine Baptiste Sampson.

A visitation will begin at 9:00am until time of service on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport.
