Funeral Mass for Earl J. Firmin of Cottonport will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville on Friday, June 7^th, 2024 beginning at 10:00am with Rev. Martin Laird officiating. Burial will take place at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Cemetery.

Earl J. Firmin, age 97, passed away at the Mercy Regional Medical Center in Ville Platte on Wednesday, June 5^th, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Carolyn Firmin of Maurice, and Terry Firmin of Denham Springs; brother, C.J. Firmin; grandchild, Melissa Firmin; and great-grandchildren, Lucian Naquin and Amelie Viator.

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Nell Firmin; parents, Benedict, Sr. and Jane (Jolibois) Firmin; sister, Audrey Guillory; brothers, Hollis Firmin, Holcomb Firmin, Nelson Firmin, Charles Firmin, Oswald Firmin, Benedict “Buck” Firmin, Jr. and Harold Firmin.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am on Friday, June 7^th, 2024 at the Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church of Plaucheville until time of funeral mass.
