A private graveside for Dorothy Mae Firmin Johnson, resident Kimberling City, MO formerly of Mansura, was held at St. Paul the Apostle Cemetery in Mansura.

Dorothy Johnson, age 88, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Debra McCrary (Wade), Jacqueline Bordelon (Alice), Tina Atwell (Jason), and Earl Johnson (Stephanie); grandchildren: Marie, Veronica, Jason, and Benjamin; great-grandchildren, Aidan, Connor, Mia, Henry, Jillian, and Gabriella; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Bordelon Aymond; her father, Rufus Joseph Firmin; her husband, Lawrence Johnson; sister, Nelly Marchese; and brother, Earl Firmin; step-father, Joseph Aymond
