Denise Ann Bordelon Norris, 61, of Baton Rouge, passed away on February 5th, 2026.

Denise was born on January 3rd, 1965 in Baton Rouge, LA to Layton and Mildred Bordelon. 

She grew up in Baton Rouge and graduated from Woodlawn high school, and went on to work in auto insurance. She mothered two sons whom she loved dearly. Denise made friends everywhere she went , from Louisiana to Tennessee. 

Denise was known for her generosity, loyalty, and her love of pink. She will be remembered fondly for the love she had for her family and her unapologetic sparkle. 

In her free time, she loved anything Disney, enjoyed coloring to relax, could shop until she dropped, and was an exceptional cook. She especially cherished Christmas time with her family and friends. 

Denise is survived by her sons; Vance and Erik Norris (Kim Rome); granddaughters, Acelyn and Allison; siblings, Myra Knight, Lenwood (Donna) Bordelon, Rene' Bordelon; godfather, Ronnie Bordelon, and godmother, Myra Knight. 

She is preceded by her parents, Layton and Mildred Bordelon; grandson, Gavin Norris; brother-in-law, Thomas Knight. 

A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 11th, 2026, at 10:30AM at St. Paul Cemetery, at the corner of Cocoville Rd (LA Hwy 107) and Old River Rd in Mansura, LA. 

The family invites all who wish to attend and share memories. 

In Lieu of Flowers,  donations may be made in Denises' name to Companion Animal Alliance in Baton Rouge (Near LSU campus).

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to all those sending their love, well wishes, prayers, and support during this time. 

Denise's love, spirit, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home of Mansura, LA.
