Deanna Beach

Funeral Mass for Deanna Chatelain Beach of Mansura will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Irion St. Romain officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Deanna Chatelain Beach, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Her husband, just days before their 59th anniversary, was at her side.

Deanna was born on September 26, 1942 in New Orleans and raised in Mansura, Louisiana. She was the first of eight children of Charles and Lucille (Guillory) Chatelain. Her parents, siblings, Karen (Lemoine), Jimmy and Michael Chatelain, as well as her son, Paul Beach, III, preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Paul M. Beach, II; daughters, Christina Thielst (Geoff) and Angelic Beach. She is also survived by her siblings, Daniel Chatelain, Brenda Chatelain, Jerome Chatelain, and Shiree Laborde; six grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Susan Beach, Pam Beach, Shari Beach; brothers-in-law, Richard Beach and James Crowley, Jr.

Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Escude’ Funeral Home in Mansura.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Saint Philomena Shrine at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Mansura, LA.
