David Bonnette

Funeral Mass for David Bonnette of Moreauville will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Brian Seiler officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart No. 2 Cemetery.

David Bonnette, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at his home in Moreauville. David worked for Paragon Casino as an engineer for 27 years. In his free time, he was often tinkering around as the handyman he was. Sometimes, he was building things or repairing lawnmowers and vehicles. Antique shopping and collecting were a favorite hobby of his as well. David will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 40 years, Gwyn Bonnette of Moreauville; daughter, Heather Lovretich (Jonathan) of Huntsville, AL; son, Adam Bonnette of Moreauville; grandchildren: Collin Lovretich, Laine Bonnette, Nolan Bonnette, Riley Lovretich, and one on the way, Emily Lovretich.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adley & Narcille Bonnette; sister, Diane Dauzat; brother, Farrell Bonnette.

Visitation will begin at 5:00pm until 9:00pm on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville and will resume Saturday morning at 8:00am until the time of service.
