Funeral service for David Houston Bass will begin at 3:00pm on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Simmesport with Bro. James Wynn. Burial & military honors will follow at the Tabernacle Baptist Cemetery in Simmesport.
David Bass, age 81, passed away on Sunday, August 21st 2022 at his home in Simmesport.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Roxana Durrett (Richard); sons, David Bass, II (Abigail) and Kevin Bass (Leanne Posey); sister, Gail Carter. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Bass; Wife, Mary Lou Redmond Bass; parents, George David Bass & Lessie Bass; siblings, Patricia Martin, Georgann Bass, Stella Sasser, and Jackie Buck.
Visitation will begin 12:00pm until time of service on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Simmesport.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Escude Funeral Home (318-964-2324) 625 Main St. Simmesport, LA 71369.
