Funeral services for Christine Knight of Cottonport will take place at the St. Marys Assumption Catholic Church of Cottonport on Sunday, August 18, 2013, beginning at 2:30 pm. Visitation will be held at the Escud Funeral Home of Cottonport on Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 5:00pm to 10:00pm and will resume Sunday at 11:00am. Burial will commence at the St. Marys Catholic Mausoleum.
Christine Knight, age 62, passed away at her home on Friday, August 16, 2013. She is survived by her husband Franklin Knight of Cottonport children, Tobey Knight of Cottonport, and Kevin Knight Erin of Alexandria grandchildren, Andrew Austin Knight brother, Glenn Manuel Cindy of Cottonport sisters, Eldoris Laprairie of Marksville and Beryl Laprairie Alvis of Marksville. She is preceded in death by her mother, Lerty Manuel.
