Funeral service for Catherine Pierite Farbe of Moreauville will begin 11:00am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Simpson Baptist Church in Moreauville. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Catherine Farbe, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at the Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. She attended Southern University where she received a degree in Business Administration.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 16 years, Kenneth Farbe, Jr.; daughter, Celina (Freddie) Sherman of Marksville; son, Matthew Tyrell Pierite of Marksville; sisters, Beryl (Charles) Pierite Holmes of Moreauville, Inez (Larry) Pierite Sampson of Moreauville, and Louise Perry of Battle Creek, Michigan; brothers, Harold (Heather) Pierite of Mansura, Marshall (Stephanie) Pierite of Marksville, Rev. Terryl (Mattie) Pierite of Moreauville, and Silton Pierite of Hessmer; grandchildren: Deonte Pierite, Quinlan Snyder, Quincy Snyder, Jr., Malayah Pierite, Kianna Pierite and Kieron Pierite.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman Pierite, Sr. & Celina Ford Pierite; siblings: Arthur Roy Pierite, Betty Pierite Logan, Alfred Pierite, Sr., and Herman Pierite, Jr.; nephews: Denerial Pierite, Dontrell Sampson, Shane Sampson, Kevin Pierite, and a niece, Lakeisha Pierite.

Visitation will begin at 9:00am until 11:00am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at the Simpson Baptist Church in Moreauville.
