Memorial service for Brady Van Sherman of Marksville will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura with Pastor Mark Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph #1 Cemetery.
Brady was born in Marksville, Louisiana on June 15, 1970 to Chris & I.L. Sherman. He passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Woodbine, Georgia.
Brady served our country honorably, first in Germany, where he witnessed the Berlin Wall come down & soon after in Desert Storm. He attended Auburn University, where he made many lifelong friends. Brady was a certified arborist for years in Atlanta & Birmingham. When he moved back to Moreauville, he worked on the river & reconnected with many friends from high school. Brady loved a good time, he loved art, traveling & the mountains.
Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Dylan Sherman, Reed Sherman, and Isaac Sherman; his sister, Becky Guillot; brother, David Guillot; nephews, Jarad Vinson, Nathan Guillot (Jamie); niece, Carmen Caldwell (Jacob); & his fiancée, Tiffany Goux.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Carmen J. Guillot; father, Chris Sherman; mother, I.L. Juneau; maternal grandparents, Irvin & Carrie Juneau; paternal grandparents, Earl & Kitty Sherman.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until 11:00am on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura, 6608 Porterie St. Mansura, LA 71350.
