Funeral Mass for Betty Lois Lemoine Gremillion of Rowlett, TX formerly of Moreauville, LA will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville with Fr. Brian Seiler officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sacred Heart Mausoleum.

Betty Gremillion, age 82, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Methodist of Richardson Medical Center in Richardson, TX. Betty worked for the Avoyelles Parish School Board as a school cafeteria worker for 22 years. Betty possessed a deep passion for flowers and plants. Her creativity shone through her skills as a sewer, crocheting, and even canvas needlepoints she created as gifts for family and friends. A lover of games, Betty never missed a chance to play Bingo, cherishing each moment spent in laughter and camaraderie. Her competitive spirit shone brightest at the booray table.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 11 years, Sherrill “Luke” Gremillion of Rowlett, TX; daughters, Angela Simon (Robert) of Mansura and Arlene Lemoine of Hessmer; stepsons, Joe Gremillion (Xiaomin) of Plano, TX and Robert Gremillion (Deanna) of Arkansas; brother, Huron Bordelon (Ursula) of New Orleans. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lobray Lemoine; parents, Dallas & Addie Reason Bordelon; brothers, Gaston, Harris, and Carl Bordelon; step-daughter, Jayne Hodeback.

Visitation will begin at 8:30am until 10:30am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Escude Funeral Home in Moreauville. Rosary prayer service will begin at 10:30am on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Moreauville.
