Bessie Neck

Bessie Roy Neck, age 98, of Mansura, La., died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at Avoyelles Hospital in Mansura, La. She is survived by her Daughter in law-Mary Goux of Mansura, La. 3 Grandchildren Rene' Goux and wife Vickie of Madosnville, Nell Tassin and husband Ronald of Mansura and Claire Goux of Lafayette; 3 sisters, Connie Lemoine of Marksville, Inez Kohler of Tomball, TX and Narcille Mayeux of Marksville; 7 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Neck; son, E.J. Goux Jr.; Parents, Landry and Carrie Zimmer Roy; brothers Huey, John, Loys and Alton Roy; sisters Juliette Bordelon and Myrtle Scallan. Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home, Mansura, La. Visitation will be at St. Paul Catholic Church, Mansura at 1:00 p.m. The funeral services will also be held at St. Paul's Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. with Father Chad Partain officiating.
