Artense Doucet

Artense Gauthier Doucet, age 100, of Bunkie, La., died Thursday, September 21, 2006, at Bunkie General Hospital. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She was the daughter of the late Ludger Gauthier and the late Alice Deshotel Doucet. She is survived by her Daughter-Angie Firmin of Baton Rouge, La. Son-Philip J. Doucet of Morrow, La. Nine grandchildren Fourteen great-grandchildren One great-great-grandchild Arrangements are being handled by Escude Funeral Home, Mansura, La., the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM Friday, September 22, 2006 at St. Charles Church Hall. Funeral service will be at St. Charles Catholic Church at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2006 , Father Dan Corkery officiating. Interment will be at St. Charles Catholic Church Cemetery in Goudeau, La.
