Amy Gene Mayeux

Funeral service for Amy Gene Mayeux of Hessmer will take place at the Vick Baptist Church of Vick on Friday, July 19, 2024 beginning at 11:00 am with Rev. Dobie Perkins officiating. Burial will take place at the Vick Baptist Church Cemetery.

 Amy Mayeux, age 83, passed away at The Lasalle General Hospital in Jena, Louisiana on Monday, July 15, 2024. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Shedrick Paul Mayeaux, a granddaughter, Alana Ward and her husband, Mike; great-grandchildren, Chesley Gagnard, and Heidi Gagnard; and a great-great-granddaughter, Heidi.

 She was preceded in death by her husband, Evans Paul Mayeux; parents, Chancey and Agnes (Paulk) Paul.

 Visitation will begin at 8:00 am on Friday, July 19, 2024 until the time of service in the Vick Baptist Church .
