Funeral Mass for Alton Roy of Mansura at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Mansura with Fr. Edwin Rodriguez-Hernandez officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Mansura.

Alton Roy, age 64, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home in Mansura. Alton worked as a postmaster with the USPS until his retirement. As a true cattleman, he enjoyed caring and raising cattle but also had a love for raising various animals. His friendly personality will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Robert Roy, III (Melanie); aunts, Bertha Mae Houston and Mary Ann Olinde (Ronald); good friends, Laura & Kerry Spruill and Ronnie Rachal; nephew, Nicholas Mitchell (Allison); two great-nephews. He is also survived by numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Roy, Jr. & Yvonne Hebert Roy; aunts, Catherine Coco, Martha Christoffel, Thelma Stelly, Rosabelle Hebert; uncles, Richard Roy and William Houston, Jr.; godchild, Ashton Young.

Visitation will begin at 8:00am until the time of service on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Escude Funeral Home in Mansura.
