Allen John Daigrepont

Allen Daigrepont, 90, passed away at a family residence in Ventress on October 5, 2023.

Visitation will be held at St. Peter Church Hall in Bordelonville on Thursday, October 12, 2023 beginning at 8:30 am until time of service.

Funeral services for Allen John Daigrepont of Rexmere will be at 11:00 am  on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Rexmere with Fr.  Dwight DeJesus officiating. Burial will follow at St. Michaels church cemetery.

He was a native of Bordelonville, a skilled carpenter and a jack of all trades. Allen’s departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. He had an infectious smile that brightened the room and a gentle laugh that brought joy to all those around him. His memories will forever be cherished and shared.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Daigrepont; parents, David and Agnes (Current) Daigrepont; siblings, Jan, Ura, Rayna, Ruby, Betty, and Everdeen; and a granddaughter, Monica Summers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Peggy (Phillip) Desselle, Charlene (Danny) Foster, Faye (Brian) Moore, Dale Daigrepont, Jan Daigrepont, and Pam (Mack, Jr.) Lemoine; grandchildren, Philisha (Eric), Phil Allen, Christy (Chris), Casie (Aaron), Collene (Allen), Chalane, Chelsie (Ted), Jeffery (Lillie), Marcus (Airsh), Reganne, Tyler (Emily), and Aliese; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Maggie, Jayden, Blake, Olivia, Bryant, Clay, Cason, Cade, Brylie, Trenton, Ryan, Havyn, Jade, Ethan, Anna, Amelia, Jenna, Taylor, Sophie, Jace, Brayden, Camden, and Oakley; sister, Louise Armand; brothers, Ernest, Edsel, James, and Clifton Daigrepont.
