Alice Couvillion

Funeral services for Alice Couvillion of Simmesport will be held at the Christ the King Catholic Church of Simmesport on Monday, December 28, 2009, beginning at 11:00am. Visitations will take place at the Escude Funeral Home of Simmesport on Sunday, December 27, 2009, beginning at 5:00pm and will last until time of the funeral on Monday. A rosary will also be cited Sunday evening at 6:00pm. Alice Couvillion, age 95, passed away at the Avoyelles Hospital in Marksville on Saturday, December 26, 2009. She is preceded in by her; husband, Albert Couvillion; parents, Arthur Michel Rebecca Mangel Michel. She is survived by her; daughter, Catherine Torina of Simmesport, Jeanette Kimble of Simmesport, Gloria Gauf of Lettsworth; sister, Rita Brouillette of Simmesport; brother, Albert Mitchel of Harahan, Curtis Mitchel of Baton Rouge. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren. Services and funeral arrangements are under the directions of Escude Funeral Home.
