Funeral Mass for Jason Andrew Saucier, Sr. of Plaucheville will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 beginning at 1pm at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Plaucheville with Fr. Martin Laird officiating. Visitation will begin on Saturday, January 26, 2019 beginning at 10am-12:30pm at Escude Funeral Home in Cottonport. Entombment will be in the Mater Dolorosa Mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Escude Funeral Home.

Jason Saucier, Sr., age 83, passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Christus St. Francis Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emile & Elmonia Saucier.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Elsie Ducote Saucer of Plaucheville; daughter, Faye Kimball & husband Charles of Cottonport; sons, Jason Saucier, Jr. & wife Sheila of Bunkie, Gregg Saucier of Baton Rouge, and Todd Saucier of Cottonport; sister, Mildred Kramer of Plaucheville; brother, James “Ray” Saucier of Slidell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers: Gregg Saucier, Todd Saucier, Hayden Saucier, Kyle Kimball, Jason Saucier, Jr., & Charles Kimball.
