Mary G. Ducote, age 62, passed away on Saturday, March 02, 2019 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, Donald J. Ducote, Sr. of Hamburg; daughter, Diane Ducote Mayeux of Hamburg; son, Donald (Jessica) Ducote, Jr. of Lafayette; five grandchildren: Dylan Ducote, Jenna Ducote, Bree Mayeux, Carlee Mayeux, & Jace Mayeux; three brothers, Valerian Gremillion, Jr., Marcel Gremillion, and Gerard Gremillion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Valerian F. Gremillion & Beryl Couvillion Gremillion; sister, Louisa Gremillion; and brothers, Benjamin Gremillion and Ellis Gremillion.

    Mary and my wife and I, class of ‘74 MHS. Mary and I shared a March 13,1956 birthday. I always think of her on that day. I had the pleasure of seeing her at a store in Moreauville a couple of years ago and reminisced about our High School day’s, talked about family and got to see and hear that familiar grin and giggle.
