She will be ever loved by family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister and grandmother. All felt special by her touch. She will be truly missed in our lives but she did her Lords will here on earth the deed was done so he called her home to live for eternity with him.

To those who were so privileged to be an immediate family member of this dear lady, we send our sincerest sympathy. She touched our lives at a time when we needed someone to point us to the One who saves and gives supernatural and very personal help along life's journey. The Lord's Spirit of love and caring for others was something that came so fluent and natural to her. She demonstrated this so gracefully. Heaven is a sweeter place now that she is there. Our prayers are with all of you and all who loved her.
Gratefully and Lovingly,

I have so many fond memories of Birdie's visits to Leonville, in the little prairie we call Platin. Birdie always exuded a great spirit of joie de vivre. I know that these last years have been a great challenge for her and her family. Now, those sufferings are behind her and the love of God is before her. Please know of my prayers and Mass intentions for Birdie and the entire family. Unfortunately, I was tied up in necessary meetings. As I think of her, I think also of the words of the French hymn/lullaby about the Holy Mother of God, words that gives us such hope.
J'irai la voir un jour
Au ciel dans la patrie
Oui j'irai voir Marie
Ma joie et mon amour
Au ciel, au ciel, au ciel
J'irai la voir un jour
Rest in peace Birdie and give Mother Mary and kiss from all of us!

So sorry for your loss. Your mom was a very sweet person.
Mrs. Birdie is truly an angel. She was so helpful when my parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Firmin, became homebound. She made certain they had a ride to church, the grocery store, etc. I think of her kindness each time I find someone who can use help with dignity and class. My prayers are with your family.

I am so sorry for Y'all's loss. But Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Mrs. Birdie was my second mom all through high school and treated me no different than any of her other children. She was such a loving, caring, special lady and I know she will be missed by all. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I love you guys.
